Prayer is nothing but a thankfulness of yours towards God. We often have a wrong impression that prayers are only to ask God something. In fact, it is to be thankful for whatever God has given you. Say your prayers with eyes closed, mind relaxed and full of positivity. Thank the lord for everything, which is there and for those things which He is about to give you.

Yeah thats totally true... I believe GOD is always there with us and I do believe that his plans are so so greater than our expectation. So today i want to thank you for such a great life.. !

I do not think God expects our Thanks. Jesus says, He has treated us friends.
While Thanking, Praying, Adoring, Worshiping are all fine, they mean nothing without the Works. The Works as in being obedient to His Word, Repenting and being perfect.
Being perfect in Love, Righteousness, Wisdom, Courage, Humility, Contentment ......
